DCKAP பள்ளி is an initiative by the DCKAP Community that strives to provide industry-ready skill training for the students who complete their 12th Grade/Polytechnic/Diploma colleges. The training at DCKAP Palli happens through professionals from the community and industry experts.
DCKAP பள்ளி (Palli) focuses on recruiting youth from underprivileged or low-income communities who can’t afford an expensive college education or are looking for alternative education to enter the corporate world. DCKAP பள்ளி (Palli) aims to mold students into well-rounded professionals ready to take up software jobs in our DCKAP Community after they are trained and made job-ready. We understand the need for students to settle down in their careers, and we hope DCKAP Palli will not just uplift their lives alone but also uplift the whole family.
The Role
This is a work-from-office role. In this role, you will:
- Develop comprehensive curricula and deliver engaging course material.
- Review and enhance training methods, teaching materials, and instructional aids.
- Design and produce classroom handouts, instructional materials, and manuals.
- Conduct training sessions and provide hands-on assistance to students.
- Evaluate ongoing programs to ensure effective student progress and development.
- Prepare assessment plans and maintain accurate records of student performance.
- Educate, train, and assess students’ growth and development.
- Collaborate with internal and external technical communities to update content.
- Motivate students to participate in external hackathons, tech assessments, and other learning opportunities, offering guidance throughout the process.
- Mentor students and support the core team in achieving learning objectives.
- Regularly track and report data on completed courses, attendance, feedback, and other relevant metrics.
The Requirements
Experience
- 2-3 years of experience in front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with knowledge of the latest industry practices.
Expertise
- Proficiency in back-end programming, preferably in PHP, JavaScript, or Python.
- Strong understanding of database design and management, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with globally supported frameworks for both front-end and back-end development, preferably React, Node.js, and Flask.
- Proficiency in Git for version control and collaboration.
- Basic knowledge of server management and deployment in relevant environments.
- Comprehensive understanding of design and web standards, as well as industry best practices.
- Appreciation for writing clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Tamil and English.
- Strong research abilities and a commitment to continuous learning and growth.

Trainee Profile
- 12th/Diploma students from diverse backgrounds, especially from government schools and diploma colleges.
- Limited exposure to technology and minimal knowledge of software development.
- Primary medium of instruction until 12th/Diploma: Tamil.
