Technical Writers at DCKAP are technically adept, curious storytellers who make complex technology simple, clear, and useful. They work closely with product and engineering teams to understand the solutions, turn technical concepts and create documentation that helps users navigate our products with confidence. With a sharp eye for detail and a passion for learning, they bring structure, clarity, and consistency to everything they write.
The Role
In this role, you will:
- Work closely with internal teams to understand the product, users, and documentation needs.
- Create clear, accurate, and high-quality documentation tailored to the intended audience.
- Review existing and new content to identify opportunities for reuse and consistency.
- Create and maintain a well-structured information architecture for product documentation.
The Requirements
Experience
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience working with and understanding APIs.
- Knowledge of the product development lifecycle is a plus.
- Experience in a software product, SaaS company, or technology startup is an added advantage.
Expertise
- Ability to quickly understand and simplify complex technical concepts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
- Technical writing or documentation experience is a plus, but not required.
