The Role
In this role, you will:
- Develop, configure, and support EDI integrations between ERP, CRM, WMS, and external trading partners.
- Design and maintain EDI mappings for X12, EDIFACT, and XML documents (850, 855, 856, 810, 940, 945, etc.).
- Build custom EDI processing modules using C#/.NET frameworks.
- Integrate EDI workflows with internal APIs and external web services (REST/SOAP).
- Troubleshoot and resolve EDI communication, translation, and mapping errors.
- Work with protocols such as AS2, FTP, SFTP, VAN, and API-based transfers.
- Develop reusable integration components and automation scripts to enhance scalability.
- Collaborate with ERP and business teams to align EDI solutions with the requirements.
The Requirements
Experience
- 3–5 years of EDI development experience.
- 2+ years of .NET development experience.
- Experience with ERP systems or integration platforms is preferred.
- B2B EDI workflows in distribution, retail, or manufacturing.
- Working with trading partners such as Costco, Walmart, Amazon, etc.
Expertise
- EDI Standards: ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, JSON
- Communication Protocols: AS2, FTP/SFTP, VAN, HTTPS
- Supply Chain Documents: Purchase Orders, Invoices, ASNs
- .NET Development: C#, .NET Framework / .NET Core, REST/SOAP API integration
- Data Management: SQL Server, Stored Procedures, Data Manipulation
- Automation: Windows Services and Web APIs for data workflows
- Analytical Thinking, Communication, Teamwork, Attention to Detail, Time Management
