Business Analysts at DCKAP are strategic thinkers and solution architects, ensuring seamless integration across ERP, CRM, and eCommerce systems. They excel in managing the project lifecycle, from gathering and documenting business and functional requirements (BRDs/FRDs) to overseeing UAT and Go-Live delivery. With expertise in APIs and system integrations, they troubleshoot issues and optimize workflows for success. Proficient in tools like Jira and platforms like Shopify and Salesforce, they work closely with clients and teams to deliver impactful, data-driven solutions that drive customer satisfaction and business growth.
The Role
In this role, you will:
- Work with customers and stakeholders to understand business processes, integration requirements, and data flows.
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Translate business requirements into clear integration specifications for development teams.
- Create and maintain data mapping, field mapping, source-to-target mapping, business rules, process flows, and integration workflow documentation.
- Analyze REST APIs, API requests and responses, JSON, XML, databases, CSV/Excel files, and FTP/SFTP-based integrations.
- Collaborate with integration developers and technical teams to clarify requirements and resolve functional, data, and integration issues.
- Participate in API testing, integration testing, UAT, production validation, and Go-Live activities.
- Investigate integration failures, identify root causes, and coordinate with customers and technical teams on resolution.
- Manage requirement changes and assess their impact on existing integrations.
- Support project planning, requirement discussions, stakeholder communication, and delivery activities.
- Create and manage user stories, tasks, bugs, and project updates using Jira.
- Ensure integration solutions meet business requirements and are properly documented before production deployment.
- Support customers across implementation and post-live phases to ensure successful integration outcomes.
The Requirements
Experience
- 2+ years of Business Analyst experience, preferably in system integrations or SaaS.
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum teams, clients, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence, requirements documentation, workflow design, testing, and UAT.
- Experience with ERP, eCommerce, CRM, PIM, WMS, marketplaces, or iPaaS is a plus.
Expertise
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON/XML, data mapping and transformation, SQL, databases, and CSV/Excel/FTP/SFTP integrations.
- Ability to document API requests/responses, integration workflows, business rules, and process requirements.
- Understanding of API authentication methods including API Keys, OAuth, and Basic Authentication.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder-management, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience supporting integrations across ERP, eCommerce, marketplaces, and third-party applications is preferred.
